Charles joined Petredis Investment Advisors in 2012.  He previously worked in PNC's Capital Markets group as an insurance credit underwriting analyst.  Charles works directly with clients in developing and executing their investment plans in an effort to meet their financial needs and goals.

Charles contributes to the management of client portfolios by providing economic and fundamental research, trading, and other portfolio management functions for individual securities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, retirement plans, and other types of investments.

Charles works alongside his father Charlie while developing, reviewing and updating advisory client investment policies and asset allocations.  Charles is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder, having achieved the right to use the designation in August 2014.


Charles earned his B.S. in Finance in 2010 with a minor in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University. At Penn State, Charles managed ~$500,000 as the Lead Energy Portfolio Manager for the Nittany Lion Fund during 2008 and 2009.  The Nittany Lion Fund is an $8 million student-run mutual fund capitalized by outside investors. Disclosure: This material does not constitute a recommendation to buy or sell any specific security.
