Christian previously worked in New York at Duff & Phelps in Valuation Advisory. While there, he created portfolio company valuations for private equity clients, as well as complex valuations for Fortune 500 companies.
Christian interned with UBS in Sales & Trading during the summer of his Junior year at Penn State, where he worked on equity sales, equity derivatives and credit desks. While at Penn State's Schreyer Honors College (Class of 2013), Christian managed $500,000 of alumni money as a portfolio manager in the Nittany Lion Fund, serving two years in the consumer staples and consumer discretionary sectors. Christian graduated with Distinction and Honors from Penn State's Schreyer Honors College with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Economics. He graduated in the top 7.5% of his class as a Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society member.
Christian is active in the Pittsburgh philanthropic community. In August 2017, he raised $17,600 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a Pittsburgh 50 Finest Honoree. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation funds research and drug development, promotes individualized treatment and ensures access to high-quality, specialized care for Cystic Fibrosis patients in the United States.
